Summary

Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in systems engineering or a similar role
- Deep knowledge of macOS, Kandji, Okta, Okta Workflows, Jira, Confluence, Slack, Zoom, ChatGPT, and Google Workspace
- Proven ability to design and implement automated workflows and systems
- Strong analytical skills with an obsession for detail and precision
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills, with a focus on clear, concise documentation
- Self-motivated, values-aligned, and committed to follow-through
- A proactive approach to identifying and solving problems, with a focus on continuous improvement
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable systems with a focus on automation and security
- Respond to and resolve support tickets with an emphasis on customer satisfaction and follow-through
- Leverage tools like Okta Workflows and scripting to streamline processes and reduce manual tasks
- Manage and improve onboarding/offboarding processes for new and departing employees
- Conduct and support monthly security and compliance tasks, including User Access Reviews (UARs) and secure configuration standard implementation/review
- Proactively enhance and ensure IT systems align with security requirements, supporting SOC 2 and FedRAMP compliance initiatives
- Reverse engineer and optimize existing IT systems to improve reliability, scalability, and efficiency
- Collaborate with the IT and Security team to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions
- Document all systems, architecture, and processes with clarity and precision
- Serve as a subject matter expert across our core IT tools and systems
- Plan and lead projects such as upgrades, migrations, or new implementations with detailed timelines and deliverables
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with security compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, FedRAMP)
- Background in managing IT systems in a fast-paced, remote SaaS environment
- Experience in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, or similar)
