Summary
Join OLX's growing team and lead large-scale, cross-functional programs across European classified products. Collaborate with engineering and product leaders to align work with strategic priorities. Prioritize programs, manage deliverables, track dependencies, and mitigate risks. Establish a governance framework for decision-making across business units. Track program performance, anticipate risks, and resolve issues. Manage a portfolio of programs to meet business unit and Group goals. Work closely with the CTO and leadership team. This role offers opportunities for remote work in Poland, Portugal, or Spain.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years in software program management, including managing significant cross functional projects in mid-size or large companies using industry standard software development methodologies
- Experience operating at scale, e.g., with teams and products around the world, in fast growing consumer markets
- Experience working directly with executive teams
- High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities
- Background in developing and/or applying a governance framework for decision making
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Responsibilities
- Lead large-scale cross-functional programs through design, development, and market launch across all European OLX classified products
- Collaborate with engineering and product leaders across Group and business units to ensure work is aligned with the strategic priorities
- Prioritize programs, develop deliverables schedules, track external dependencies and commitments, manage stakeholders
- Manage programs to success, determining and mitigating risks, assessing and communicating status, providing programs visibility
- Establish and apply a governance framework that works across business units and functional areas for driving decision making
- Track program performance using success metrics, anticipate risks, resolve issues, and collaborate to fine tune programs as needed
- Manage a portfolio of programs using tools and analytics to ensure programs are meeting business unit and Group goals across OLX
- Work closely with the CTO and CTO leadership team
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience as a Product Manager or Software Engineer
