Requirements

  • Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience in UX research, user research, or similar roles
  • Research skills: Proficiency in a range of qualitative and quantitative research methods (e.g., usability testing, interviews, surveys, analytics)
  • Problem-solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business and user needs into impactful research questions and actionable recommendations
  • Collaboration: Excellent team player with strong communication skills; fluent in English and German
  • Proactive attitude: Highly motivated, with a can-do mindset, always seeking to challenge the status quo and continuously improve the user experience

Responsibilities

  • Drive user-centered insights: Collaborate closely with the Marketing, Product, and Design teams at AUTO1 to uncover actionable user insights that enable faster and more impactful decision-making
  • Empower stakeholders with user understanding: Provide teams with clear, data-driven insights into user behaviors, needs, and pain points. Define, track, and communicate key UX metrics and KPIs to inform conversion and business strategies
  • Facilitate access to user insights: Ensure conversion optimisation managers, product managers, and business stakeholders have easy access to well-structured research findings, fostering a user-centric culture across the organization
  • Design and conduct research: plan, execute, and analyze qualitative and quantitative research studies - including user interviews, usability testing, surveys, and data analysis - to support product development and optimization
  • Ensure research quality and consistency: Implement rigorous research methodologies, documentation, and version control practices to maintain high standards of research quality and reproducibility
  • Elevate research impact: Consolidate and review existing research to deliver higher levels of insight and actionable recommendations, ensuring research findings drive product and business improvements

Preferred Qualifications

Data analysis: Experience analyzing user data and synthesizing findings into actionable insights. Familiarity with tools such as Tableau, Google Analytics, or similar platforms is a plus
