Requirements

  • Demonstrate a strong background with Google Analytics and other digital SEO tools like Google Search Console, SEMRush, Mouseflow, Screaming Frog and MOZ, among others
  • Develop and execute search engine optimization initiatives to drive incremental search traffic
  • Exercise critical thinking to conduct thorough analysis that results in actionable insights
  • Be passionate about SEO and remain knowledgeable about trends and best practices
  • Communicate clearly, effectively and persuasively in both written and verbal forms
  • Exercise good judgment to take smart action and solve problems, does not require constant oversight, does more than the bare minimum and performs under pressure
  • Maintain high standards and provide work that is professionally composed and free of error

Responsibilities

  • Manage SEO, CRO, and content services for all assigned accounts, to include meeting all service level agreements
  • Conduct phone and face-to-face consultation, reporting, and training with clients. Deliver presentations
  • Educate clients about SEO and CRO, and content including best practices. Provide recommendations for better results
  • Manage client communications and scope changes during project execution. Provide professional feedback and guidance when unreasonable demands are made
  • Review and respond to clients without delay and with complete answers
  • Assist customers with technical implementations
  • Create and maintain positive client relationships and high level of client satisfaction
  • Identify and communicate upsell and cross-sell opportunities
  • Conduct thorough on-page optimization and site health checks
  • Analyze data trends and organic performance, develop strategic SEO plans and conduct SEO activities to attain high visibility on search engines
  • Implement creative ways to improve organic results and work closely in a consultative role with the clients and SEO team
  • Explain SEO performance issues to clients in ways that are clear, understandable, and valuable
  • Utilize Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMRush, and other platforms to review SEO performance and provide descriptive, predictive and prescriptive analyses
  • Provide complete and correct monthly and quarterly reports by the 10th business day of the following month. Ensure delivery of all reports at least 48 hours prior to client call
  • Convey analysis and recommendations in the report that are useful and unique to the client
  • Properly execute and produce all contracted items within an SEO project’s stated scope of work
  • Thoroughly read, understand, and complete assigned tickets quickly without compromising quality
  • Create and submit detailed tickets to SEO Specialists, developers or other departments for support when necessary
  • Review tickets when complete and check for accuracy before closing the ticket
  • Self-manage ticket queue and assign tickets as necessary for issues that arise, including new page optimizations
  • Develop and execute annual SEO Account Plan items on time and pace accounts appropriately
  • Ideate and execute data-driven A/B tests and optimization strategies for client websites
  • Utilize Growthbook, Google Analytics, and Google BigQuery for reporting. Analyze test results and data to make informed decisions to meet client website goals
  • Work with client to implement winning strategies across client’s website
  • Host an initial onboarding call to include a member of Simpleview’s content team to present the offering and answer any questions prior to recommendations being implemented
  • Communicate with clients to understand their highest needs and goals to develop content recommendations to publish live on the site
  • Conduct thorough keyword research to ideate, present, and ticket out content according to engagement level
  • Plan, present, and ticket out content recommendations within the confines of engagement deliverables
  • Apply common SEO tools with confidence, including Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Keyword Planner, Google Search Console, SEMrush and Growthbook to assess SEO performance
  • Assist with the creation and implementation of meta, H1s, and on-page optimizations
  • Review tickets including site health scans and take appropriate action for internal or external communication. Items include broken links, duplicate content, and crawl errors, among others
  • Display up-to-date knowledge of SEO and digital marketing techniques, trends, and developments
  • Responsible for Granicus information security by appropriately preserving the Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability (CIA) of Granicus information assets in accordance with the company's information security program
  • Responsible for ensuring the data privacy of our employees and customers, their data, as well as taking all required privacy training in a timely manner, in accordance with company policies
