Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on SEO experience, including diagnosing and resolving traffic and ranking declines
• Expertise in local SEO, on-page optimization, backlink strategies, and technical SEO fundamentals
• Proficiency in SEO tools such as Ahrefs, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console
• Familiarity with recent Google algorithm updates and their potential impacts
• Strong analytical and communication skills to clearly articulate findings and recommendations

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth analyses to uncover the root causes of traffic and ranking declines
• Create actionable plans to address technical, content, and backlink issues while identifying growth opportunities
• Share expertise on overlooked areas, industry best practices, and long-term SEO strategies tailored to our needs
• Advise on technical SEO, site structure, and local SEO improvements, ensuring alignment with recent algorithm updates
• Work closely with the Growth, Marketing, and Tech teams to implement changes and monitor progress

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven experience recovering traffic and rankings for content-heavy or local-focused websites
• Familiarity with CMS platforms like Webflow or JavaScript-based frameworks like Astro
• Experience in regional or service-based search optimization
