Requirements

• Proven experience as an SEO Content Strategist or similar role
• Strong proficiency in using Semrush or Ahrefs
• Demonstrated ability to conduct daily research using Google Trends
• Experience identifying content update opportunities and providing detailed instructions for updates
• Excellent understanding of SEO principles and how to apply them to content strategy
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to inform content strategy decisions

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough keyword research consistently to identify relevant and high-traffic keywords (50-60 weekly) for assignments
• Perform Daily Google Trends research
• Review competitor performance on the SERP periodically and share insights
• Implement our internal crosslinking strategy
• Monitor performance on Search Console and Google Analytics
• Keep abreast of the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices
• Identify, assign, and review evergreen content updates
• Be an SEO evangelist, promoting best practices and continuous improvement
• Support the pitch process as needed
• Update articles as needed
