Requirements
- Proven Experience: 2-4 years of SEO experience in an agency setting is preferred
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog
- On-Page & Off-Page SEO: Strong knowledge of on-page and off-page SEO best practices
- Technical SEO: Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript basics, and web development principles related to SEO
- Content Optimisation: Experience optimising content with a focus on user intent and conversion goals
- Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights from performance metrics
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain SEO concepts and performance to clients
- Demonstrated experience in white hat link building techniques only; black or grey hat methods are not accepted
- Time Management: Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fully remote environment
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth keyword research to inform content strategies and target high-value search queries
- Optimise website elements, including titles, meta descriptions, headers, internal linking, and image alt text to improve search engine rankings
- Conduct regular website audits and collaborate with developers to address technical SEO issues, including site speed, mobile optimisation, and crawl errors
- Collaborate with the content team to optimise content for SEO, including blogs, landing pages, and multimedia assets
- Develop and execute link-building strategies to increase domain authority and organic search performance
- Track and analyse SEO performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO platforms
- Prepare monthly reports for clients to showcase SEO achievements and future strategies
- Monitor and report on competitor SEO strategies and rankings to identify new opportunities for clients
- Regularly monitor SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices to ensure client strategies are up-to-date and effective
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification: Google Analytics, Google Ads, or similar certification
- Experience with CRO: Knowledge of conversion rate optimisation (CRO) and how it intersects with SEO
- HTML/CSS Proficiency: Basic coding knowledge to assist with technical SEO issues and improvements
