Summary
Join our team as an HVAC Service Coordinator! This mostly remote position (with occasional office visits in the Reno area preferred) supports the coordination of HVAC maintenance and installation projects. You will schedule appointments, maintain equipment records, process work orders, create preventive maintenance schedules, and communicate with clients and team members. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Detail-oriented with good problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Responsibilities
- Schedule and coordinate routine HVAC maintenance, repairs, and installation appointments with technicians and clients
- Maintain detailed records of all HVAC equipment, including maintenance histories, warranties, and service schedules
- Process work orders and maintenance requests, ensuring proper prioritization and timely completion
- Create and maintain preventive maintenance schedules for HVAC systems
- Communicate with clients, contractors, and team members regarding project status and updates
- Prepare basic reports on maintenance activities, equipment status, and project progress
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document management
- Assist in coordinating emergency HVAC service calls as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's degree in facilities management, construction management, or related field
- Prior experience in facilities management or construction coordination
- Knowledge of building maintenance management software
- Basic understanding of building codes and safety regulations
- HVAC certification or related technical training
- Experience with project scheduling and coordination
