Requirements

  • US Citizenship
  • Must possess or be able to obtain a Secret/Top Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Architect or a similar role
  • Proven expertise in implementing and optimizing ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, and Security Operations
  • In-depth experience with ServiceNow integrations, custom development, and troubleshooting
  • Strong knowledge of ServiceNow data models, workflows, scripting (JavaScript), and REST APIs
  • Experience with ServiceNow upgrades, performance tuning, and best practices for scalability
  • Proficiency in web technologies, including JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and ServiceNow scripting capabilities
  • Familiarity with ITOM capabilities, Service Catalog, and Reporting
  • Strong knowledge of data security practices and integration security protocols
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and a proven ability to develop innovative solutions for complex technical challenges
  • Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently in a remote environment

Responsibilities

  • Design and optimize ServiceNow solutions to align with business and IT requirements, ensuring adherence to best practices
  • Lead the end-to-end architecture of ServiceNow implementations, including planning, design, and deployment phases
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into detailed technical requirements and specifications
  • Customize and extend ServiceNow applications and modules such as ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, and Security Operations
  • Integrate ServiceNow with external systems and third-party applications, ensuring seamless data flow and robust security
  • Develop and implement strategies for workflow automation, data migration, and system performance optimization
  • Conduct code reviews, testing, and deployment planning to maintain high standards for reliability, scalability, and security
  • Serve as a technical lead, mentoring developers and ensuring adherence to ServiceNow development best practices
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation for system designs, configurations, integrations, and processes
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to ServiceNow performance and functionality
  • Stay current with ServiceNow updates and features, recommending system enhancements to align with IT modernization goals

Preferred Qualifications

  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or equivalent certifications
  • Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and DevOps tools (e.g., Jira, Jenkins, GitHub) is a plus
