Requirements

  • 1-2+ years of work experience, preferably in e-commerce/tech or retail/grocery
  • A bachelor's degree
  • Expert Microsoft Excel and analytical skills; proficiency with SQL strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with client-side analytics tools (GA, Adobe, Heap, or other)
  • Expert collaboration skills – ability to work cross functionally in a complex organization in multiple locations
  • Strong project management, organization and prioritization skills
  • Superb attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and energetic individual with a high level of initiative who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is comfortable with ambiguity, and has a passion for continuous improvement

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute weekly merchandising plan and owning the long term merchandising calendar
  • Assist in developing content strategy, product curation, and UI optimization of our marketplace
  • Support the Product team in the definition of requirements for new site features designed to improve sales and customer experience
  • Perform weekly sales analysis to track margin, profit, and revenue, and help to make merchandising decisions based on data
  • Define, document, test, and measure hypotheses designed to improve conversion, AOV, AUR, and other customer metrics
  • Liaise with marketing team to communicate merchandising strategy, launch new products, and identify opportunities for promotion across marketing channels
  • Liaise with procurement team to plan out features and work with vendors to sign and execute paid merchandising opportunities
  • Work with all procurement to collect data/content for products and on-site features
  • Help identify business needs for merchandising tooling and software
  • Create a best in class vendor reporting process to support paid merchandising/advertising engagements with brands
