Summary
Join Twin Group as a Skills Coach β Safeguarding Officer, contributing to a diverse team delivering life-enhancing services. Based remotely with required travel, you will engage with employers and learners, delivering high-quality teaching and learning while meeting KPIs. Responsibilities include maintaining a learner caseload, ensuring compliance, and continuous professional development. The role requires specific qualifications and experience in safeguarding and adult education. Requirements
- D32/33/A1 equivalent
- L3 AET or equivalent
- L2 Functional Skills in Maths and English
- Skilled in Customer and Employer Liaison
- Valid UK driving licence with access to a car during working hours
- Able to demonstrate a strong understanding of working at an appropriate level within a Safeguarding environment
- Sound knowledge of Safeguarding best practice and principles, including relevant legislative requirements within the sector
- Familiar with community engagement strategies, local services, and support networks to meet Safeguarding needs
- Demonstrable experience of having utilised internal and external stakeholder networks to meet safeguarding requirements whilst escalating as appropriate
- The successful candidate must be able to work in the UK
Responsibilities
- Engage with employers and learners to deliver high-quality teaching and learning
- Meet KPIs set for starts, progression, achievement, leavers and customer satisfaction in line with quality, compliance and financial targets
- Maintain a caseload of learners delivering sector-specific programmes including developing Maths, English & ICT skills alongside personal development, behaviours & attitudes
- Ensure all quality and compliance processes are fully adhered to mitigate risks to funding, achievement rates and employer, learner satisfaction
- Ensure individual experience and subject area knowledge is up to date and current through Continuous Personal Development, including sharing good practice, engaging with training and acquiring/maintaining any individual qualifications required for the role
Preferred Qualifications
- Providing a varied programme of delivery in line with the required qualification, teaching, training, support, mentoring and development of learners
- Coaching learners within their workplace to ensure the timely achievement of their apprenticeship from onboarding to end-point assessment
