Summary

Join CrossFit's dynamic team as a Social Media Manager for a six-month contract. Collaborate with the Senior Social Media Manager to execute a comprehensive social media strategy. Manage all CrossFit Affiliates' social media accounts, brainstorming and pitching creative campaign ideas. Maintain a content calendar aligned with brand goals, generating and sharing engaging daily content. Work with the creative team to produce high-quality content and utilize data analytics to optimize performance. Foster a strong social media community, encouraging user-generated content and collaborating with influencers to expand brand reach.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in social media

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Sr. Social Media Manager to execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the overall marketing objectives and brand goals
  • Day-to-day management of all CrossFit Affiliates social media accounts
  • Brainstorm and pitch creative ideas for social media campaigns and activations
  • Plan and maintain a content calendar in alignment with brand positioning and long-term goals
  • Generate, edit, publish and share content daily that is customized to be engaging and useful for audiences on individual social media platforms
  • Work closely with the creative team to produce high-quality, on-brand content, including graphics, videos, and other multimedia assets
  • Utilize data and analytics to optimize content performance and adjust strategies as needed
  • Foster a strong and engaged community across social media platforms, responding to comments, messages, and mentions promptly and positively
  • Implement strategies to encourage user-generated content and community participation
  • Work closely with influencers and partners to amplify the brand's reach and impact
