Social Media Manager

Summary

Join Envato as a Social Media Manager and play a strategic and hands-on role in driving our organic social media presence and managing the team. You will be a social media expert, crafting and implementing strategies that engage Envato’s customers and the broader creative community, with a strong emphasis on growing our presence in the US market. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract based anywhere in Australia or New Zealand, with a focus on remote work. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor the Social Media Specialist, and report on social media performance. Requirements

• Proven leadership skills with experience mentoring and developing social media teams to deliver impactful results
• In-depth knowledge of major social media platforms, their algorithms, advertising options, and best practices
• Expertise in crafting and executing effective social media content strategies that align with brand and marketing goals
• Strong track record in managing successful campaigns, setting objectives, and measuring outcomes
• Skilled in building and engaging online communities, responding to inquiries, and fostering connections
• Proficient in social listening tools and data analysis to track trends, monitor performance, and optimise campaigns
• Excellent copywriting and content curation skills, ensuring engaging and on-brand messaging across channels
• Up-to-date with the latest social media trends, platform developments, and audience behaviours, particularly in US markets

Responsibilities

• Define and implement Envato’s social media strategy in line with overarching business goals
• Stay updated on emerging social media trends, platforms, and technologies, introducing innovative ideas to boost engagement
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate social media into broader marketing campaigns and business strategies
• Lead and mentor the Social Media Specialist to support their development and growth
• In collaboration with the creative team, develop and manage workflows for sourcing, repurposing, and distributing engaging social media content
• Build and nurture online communities, managing brand interactions, and fostering meaningful engagement across platforms
• Create and implement influencer marketing strategies, maintaining relationships and tracking campaign results
• Monitor and report on social media performance, providing insights and data-driven recommendations for optimisation
• Oversee social media calendars and ensure consistent publishing schedules aligned with Envato’s brand voice
• Act as a social media advocate, educating and guiding stakeholders on the effective use of platforms for maximum impact
