Responsibilities

  • Driving growth on multiple social accounts, primarily focusing on rap and hip-hop
  • Creating, publishing, & curating content
  • Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies to achieve objectives, increase brand awareness, and drive audience engagement
  • Manage a social content calendar, ensuring timely and consistent posting of content that aligns with brand voice and guidelines
  • Monitor social media trends, industry developments, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and stay up-to-date with best practices
  • Monitor and analyze social media metrics, such as impressions, engagement, and audience sentiment, to evaluate the effectiveness of content strategies and provide data-driven insights
  • Roll out stories, breaking news, and editorial content across social throughout the day and into the night/weekend hours
  • Collaborate with the sales team to roll out ads in a timely manner

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in creating social content that has been sold against
  • Editorial experience writing for a publication or brand
  • Strong skillsets with pulling and interpreting data to drive decision-making on social platforms
  • Experience working within media or the music industry
