Requirements

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English
• Strong understanding of the Nigerian sports scene, particularly football and basketball
• Proficiency in content creation tools, video editing software, and content management systems
• Ability to develop and execute effective content strategies

• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and cover major sporting events outside regular hours

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging content strategies for the Nigerian market
• Create, edit, and manage high-quality content—including articles, videos, social media posts, and other media assets—that captivates our target audience
• Oversee distribution of content across all relevant channels, including social media, website, newsletters, and other digital platforms
• Keep up with Nigerian sports industry trends, competitor activities, and audience preferences to maintain relevant and engaging content
• Partner closely with marketing, social media, and design teams to deliver consistent messaging
• Track and evaluate content performance using key metrics to refine strategies and optimize content
• Engage actively with our audience through social media interactions and community management to build a positive, lively online community
• Oversee content production budgets to ensure efficient, high-quality output
