Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in social media marketing, with a track record of building successful brand identities
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms, tools, and best practices
  • Experience with data analytics and marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Buffer)
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments
  • Creative thinker with a strong sense of branding and marketing principles

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies aligned with overall brand objectives
  • Identify emerging trends and shifts in social media algorithms, utilizing these insights to inform content creation and posting strategies
  • Oversee the development of engaging and relevant content tailored to various platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest, Google, and other platforms ensuring alignment with brand identity
  • Analyze performance metrics to optimize content strategies, including what, when, and how to post
  • Create and execute targeted campaigns to grow social media accounts, employing segmentation techniques to reach diverse audiences
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design initiatives that cultivate brand loyalty and increase market presence
  • Lead and mentor a team of social media specialists and content creators, fostering a collaborative and creative environment
  • Delegate tasks effectively, ensuring each team member understands their role in achieving overall marketing objectives
  • Work closely with other departments, such as PR, SEO, and content marketing, to ensure cohesive messaging across all channels
  • Articulate social media plans and results to stakeholders, facilitating buy-in and support for initiatives
  • Monitor and report on social media performance, adjusting strategies based on analytics and user feedback
