Summary

Join IOG as a Social Media Strategist and contribute to developing and implementing a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with marketing objectives. You will manage content creation and publication, engage with followers, and analyze performance to optimize social media presence. This role requires strong communication, analytical, and collaborative skills, along with experience in social media strategy and digital marketing. Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a Social Media Strategist or Social Media Manager
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • Hands on experience using social media for brand awareness
  • Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics
  • An ability to identify target audience preferences and build content to meet them
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented individual who reviews his/her work carefully
  • Self-Starter: Proactive approach, comfortable working independently while knowing when to request support
  • Detail-Oriented & Organized: Ability to review work carefully and manage multiple projects within deadlines
  • Team spirit; strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with a remote team and stakeholders
  • Ability to deliver projects on time and willingness to ask for support when needed
  • Willingness to share and adopt ideas
  • Belief that shared success is better than individual glory

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute social media strategies aligned with IO marketing goals and brand guidelines
  • Continuously assess emerging channels and tools to refine current strategies
  • Manage, create, and publish original, high-quality content across multiple social media platforms
  • Collaborate with writers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure content is informative, brand-aligned, and appealing
  • Administer company social media accounts, ensuring timely responses and engaging interactions with followers
  • Monitor user engagement, address queries, and manage social listening to maintain brand reputation
  • Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports, focusing on key metrics such as reach, engagement, conversion, and ROI
  • Analyze trends and provide optimization recommendations to improve visibility and engagement
  • Train internal teams to adopt and maintain a cohesive social media strategy
  • Champion best practices throughout the organization and encourage knowledge-sharing
  • Stay up-to-date with new digital technologies, social media trends, and best practices to keep strategies fresh and effective
  • Identify opportunities for partnerships, brand collaborations, or influencer marketing initiatives

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in digital marketing or related fields is a plus (e.g., content marketing, brand management)
