Join Hire Resolve's Client in their search for a talented Software Support Engineer to provide technical support to clients, resolve software-related issues, and ensure the smooth operation of software applications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in software support or technical support roles
  • Strong knowledge of software development processes and methodologies
  • Solid background in both Windows and Linux environments as well as a good understanding in domain controllers and directory sync services
  • Microsoft Entra and Microsoft Exchange administration
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python
  • Knowledge in setting up and managing IaaS and PaaS environments
  • Experience with SQL databases and basic database management
  • Ability to write and maintain shell scripts
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills
  • Solid understanding in hypervisors, container engines and orchestration tools
  • Solid knowledge in Microsoft Azure services, including Azure DevOps
  • Ability to work well in a team and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Solid understanding in all the various internet protocols, as well as being able to set up physical and virtual networks
  • Knowledge of ticketing systems and issue-tracking software is a plus
  • Good knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes and LEMP hosting stacks

Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line support for software applications to clients via phone, email, and remote access
  • Troubleshoot software issues and log tickets in the support system
  • Collaborate with developers to resolve complex software-related problems
  • Assist in software testing, release management, and deployment
  • Document solutions and maintain accurate records of client interactions
  • Provide training and guidance to clients on effective software use
  • Stay updated on software changes and enhancements
  • Participate in software development projects to improve overall user experience

  • GCP management
  • AWS management
