Summary

Join us at Modernizing Medicine, a fast-paced Healthcare IT company that is truly Modernizing Medicine! We are seeking a Training Consultant 1 - Practice Management to serve as the primary trainer for small and medium-complexity practices.

Requirements

  • Ability to travel 75-90% including weekends, and provide some off-hours training and support, including occasional weekends
  • 2+ years experience in software training, implementation, and/or relevant medical practice experience
  • Medical practice management experience (Claims Specialist, Accounts Receivable Specialist, Biller)
  • Demonstrates good problem-solving skills and effective decision-making abilities
  • Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Empathetic communicator with a consultative approach - able to see things from another personโ€™s point of view
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of the training team
  • Positive and personable attitude with a customer service focus
  • A professional, patient, and balanced approach to handling difficult customer situations
  • Able to establish and maintain effective communication and relationships with customers and teammates
  • Takes initiative in goal fulfillment and deadlines
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Basic knowledge of Apple products including Mac, iPad, and iPhone
  • Ability to easily learn new software

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates full competency of Modernizing Medicineโ€™s specialty-specific EHR, ASC, Practice Management System and/or Financials
  • Delivers virtual and in-person training to physicians, clinicians, and office staff while understanding the needs of each role
  • Escalates issues and risks when needed
  • Completes documentation to support the organizationsโ€™ business needs
  • Makes ongoing recommendations for process improvements
  • Assists with open support cases when needed
  • Travels to deliver onsite training including workshops and go-live support
  • Troubleshoots technical issues
  • Collaborates with the Knowledge Services team to develop training material and user guides
  • Develops and delivers content for user conferences and end-user training events
  • Maintains competency with product enhancements through internal training sessions
  • Demonstrates commitment to departmental and corporate goals
