Requirements

  • Strong analysis, communication, presentation skills
  • Solid understanding across Cyber, Networks, Data centres and Cloud with deeper knowledge and experience in one of these areas
  • Knowledge of Outsourced IT Services and Infrastructure project requirements
  • Key product knowledge focussed on Cloud technologies e.g. AWS, Azure/Azure Stack, CrowdStrike, Sentinel, Fortinet, Zscaler
  • Demonstrated experience in technical presales including responding to formal sales opportunities
  • The ability to interpret customer business problems and shape requirements into a technology solution
  • Experience and specialist skills in the configuration and maintenance of technology infrastructure, including the ability to support a variety of technologies

Responsibilities

  • Sales execution
  • Opportunity triaging and qualification
  • Working in cross-functional Datacom teams to support sales activity and joint propositions
  • Contributing content and bid strategy to formal sales responses such as SOWs/ Proposals /RFP /RFI /RFQ activity
  • Ensuring work meets commercial and reporting standards and processes
  • Demonstrating a continuous improvement mindset, looking for opportunities to refine and improve our presales process
  • Sales enablement
  • Create high quality, reusable content for formal sales responses
  • Contribute to sales enablement collateral to support sales discussions
  • Create thought leadership content
  • Support Datacom Customer Partnership Lead’s in customer sales discussions
  • Provide feedback and insights to the Product Management team
  • Providing sales coaching to Infrastructure Products service lines based on insights and experience
  • Relationship management
  • Building strong relationships within Infrastructure Products, other Presales teams and Market GTM and sales teams
  • Building long-term, strategic relationships with external stakeholders to drive market intelligence
  • Skill development
  • Maintaining currency of knowledge, training and engagement with relevant vendors
