Summary

The job is a 3-year Solutions Engineer position with The Child Mind Institute (CMI) in partnership with California's Department of Health Care Services (DHCS). The role involves technical evaluation, prototyping, and collaboration for digital solutions to help children and youth with mental health and learning disorders. The position is remote within the United States.

Requirements

  • 4+ years in a technical customer service or product-focused role
  • 4+ years in software development and/or mobile app development
  • M.S. degree in engineering, computer science, or relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Experience with APIs and SDKs, SSO and web service protocols, and PWA
  • Passion for data science, open science, and creating high-impact scalable solutions
  • Thrive in dynamic environments, juggling multiple projects, and stakeholders
  • Tackle solutions-oriented engineering and research problems with creativity and ingenuity. Strong technical experience in testing, design, and support
  • Exceptional writing, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to understand complex business challenges and apply troubleshooting to meet prospects' and partners’ needs
  • Strong analytical, planning, technical, and presentation development skills

Responsibilities

  • Act as the technical authority for external and internal partners including understanding the up-to-date capabilities of MindLogger and its corresponding roadmap
  • Rapidly prototype ideas and bring them to life when appropriate
  • Lead the technical evaluation of proposed solutions for our product and strategic partnerships and demonstrate them to other members of the team
  • Build strong relationships with partners, translating their objectives and requirements into effective solutions
  • Establish the framework for necessary contributions from various teams and facilitate collaboration
  • Support the sales process by providing technical expertise on digital products, including usage, architecture, functionality and deployment
  • Work with the product teams to understand the development of comprehensive integration support documentation for new products, features and integration into existing products
  • Monitor technical requirements of existing digital products needed to move partnership and new business development initiatives forward

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AR, hardware and bio-sensor development
  • Experience with HIPAA, COPPA, GDPR compliance
  • Experience with machine learning domains and AWS
  • Understanding of relevant clinical and research domains
