Join Zerionβs API team as a proactive, technically exceptional Solution Engineer to scale the future of onchain infrastructure. This unique opportunity blends product, engineering, and customer success, supporting developers, improving onboarding, and enhancing the API experience for teams building on our platform. You will play a critical role in reducing engineering load by handling Tier 1β2 API support, translating feedback into actionable insights, and ensuring developers feel empowered. This position requires strong engineering fundamentals and Web3 expertise. You will work closely with engineers and product managers to resolve issues, improve documentation, and implement customer-driven features. The ideal candidate is a quick learner, proactive, and comfortable working independently in a remote-first environment.
Requirements
- Solid engineering fundamentals with at least 3+ years development experience
- Solid understanding of Web3 concepts (wallets, NFTs, DeFi)
- Hands-on experience with Web3 projects β either personal (pet projects) or commercial use
- Strong experience with Golang (required)
- Strong understanding of API architecture, REST conventions, tokens/auth flows, and error handling
- Experience debugging and resolving complex issues in production systems
- Experience with developer platforms or supporting external development teams
Responsibilities
- Act as the first technical point of contact for teams integrating Zerion API
- Diagnose edge cases, debug & fix issues, and unblock partners acting as the owner for tier 1β2 engineering challenges
- Write well-structured, and efficient code contributing to the development of new services and features
- Collaborate closely with engineers to triage and resolve problems efficiently
- Maintain and improve technical documentation, SDKs, and dev onboarding flows
- Shaping the product by implementing customer-driven features in close collaboration with the product manager
- Monitor developer success metrics and reduce time-to-value
Preferred Qualifications
- Python experience
- Comfortable speaking the language of on-chain builders
- Built or supported systems across multiple chains (EVM, L2s, Solana, etc.)
- Experience with blockchain data analytics tools (Dune, Nansen)
