Summary

Join Masabi's Solutions Consulting team as a Director and lead a team at the heart of the business. You will unify and lead Pre-Sales and Solutions Engineering teams, ensuring clients receive the best experience. Your leadership will influence solution shaping and platform evolution, enabling agencies to deliver seamless fare payments. You will define and execute a vision and strategy for the Solutions Consulting function, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Drive revenue growth and customer impact by partnering with sales leadership and collaborating with Customer Success and Account Management. Guide the team in tailoring solutions to client challenges and act as a senior escalation point for high-priority opportunities. Identify opportunities for product enhancements and strategic partnerships based on customer insights.

Requirements

  • Understand public transit profoundly and empathize with the challenges agencies face, either through direct experience or a related field
  • Have a track record of leading Solutions Consulting, Pre-Sales, or Solutions Engineering teams in a SaaS, enterprise, or transit technology environment
  • Know how to balance big-picture strategy with hands-on execution, ensuring both team success and customer impact
  • Enjoy mentoring and developing teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and shared success
  • A problem-solver willing to step in when needed, while empowering your team to thrive
  • An exceptional communicator, able to simplify complex ideas and bring people together around a shared vision

Responsibilities

  • Lead and Shape the Solutions Consulting Team
  • Define and execute a clear vision and strategy for the Solutions Consulting function, ensuring alignment with company goals and customer needs
  • Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performance culture, coaching and mentoring a growing team
  • Set and drive best practices across pre-sales and post-sales engagements, ensuring consistent, impactful client interactions
  • Ensure alignment between Pre-Sales and Post-Sales teams for a seamless client experience
  • Drive Revenue Growth & Customer Impact
  • Partner Sales leadership to provide strategic solution guidance early in the sales cycle
  • Collaborate with Customer Success and Account Management to ensure clients maximize the value of our platform
  • Develop and scale a billable Solutions Consulting service, helping agencies optimize fare policies, integrations, and system strategies
  • Ensure proposals, Statements of Work (SOWs), and deliverables are clear, compelling, and aligned with client expectations
  • Optimize Solution Design & Implementation
  • Guide the team in tailoring scalable, impactful solutions to client challenges
  • Lead design phases for large-scale implementations, ensuring best practices in discovery, solution architecture, and technical leadership
  • Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Delivery teams to ensure smooth implementation and long-term success
  • Act as a senior escalation point for high-priority opportunities, ensuring smooth execution and alignment
  • Industry & Product Leadership
  • Identify opportunities for product enhancements, new integrations, and strategic partnerships based on customer insights
  • Collaborate with Product teams to prioritize platform investments based on client needs and industry trends
  • Serve as a trusted expert in public transit fare payment strategies, helping shape the future of the industry
