Solutions Engineer

Summary

Join Mark43 as a Solutions Engineer and play a key role in the Commercial team, collaborating with internal teams to launch the product globally. You will be responsible for building relationships with clients, suppliers, and key individuals to understand technical requirements and ensure successful product deployments. This remote position involves travel and requires strong technical skills and experience in selling enterprise software, particularly to government and UK policing organizations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in selling enterprise software
• Experience selling to Government and UK Policing Organisations (ideally CAD/RMS)
• Excellent technical writing skills and basic familiarity with the public sector procurement process (RFP/I/Q)
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences
• Ability to run and structure in-depth product demonstrations
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented, able to work autonomously
• Willingness to travel 50-80% with Account Managers to communicate technical value proposition
• Understanding of the product lifecycle, from requirements gathering to maintenance support
• BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience

Responsibilities

• Client Development : Collaborate to respond to tenders and convert clients to face-to-face demonstrations. Become an expert on specific technical considerations regarding RFP requirements
• Sales : Attend face-to-face demonstrations and assist in qualifying, demonstrating, and communicating the Mark43 platform’s technical value proposition to new customers. Provide support to Account Managers and Sales Development Representatives
• Technical Services : Gather technical requirements necessary for successful migrations and integrations for new departments we work with
• Deployments : Help manage and execute new deployments and mitigate technical concerns as they arise from communications with our clients
• Engineering and Product Management : Understand and communicate the product roadmap to current and future customers. Inform the roadmap going forward
