Summary

We are seeking an experienced education technologist to become a K12 Solutions Engineer at SchooLinks. This role involves providing support to sales, acting as the primary knowledge resource for all things related to SchooLinks' product offerings, and driving the technology evaluation stage of the sales process. The position is remote but requires travel up to 50%.

Requirements

• Education experience, preferably in leadership at a school, district, or state level
• A strong understanding of instructional best practices and of digital tools that support best practices
• Technical understanding of education technology, web technology, mobile technology, systems integration, SaaS, student information systems, APIs, etc
• Articulate and dynamic presentation skills with the ability to present to a wide range of stakeholders
• Organized and analytical, able to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches
• Self-motivated, self-reliant, collaborative, and communicative
• Thrive in a fast paced environment
• Must be a team player
• Must be prepared for extensive travel (up to 50% at peak periods)

Responsibilities

• Position the SchooLinks platform as a solution (and as a partner) to all stakeholders, from shallow to deep, from storytelling, to technical deep-dives
• Develop, refine, and deliver tailored product demonstrations that are thoughtful, simple, but engaging
• Effectively communicate complex technology, workflows and implementations to a variety of stakeholders
• Act as a trusted strategic and technical advisor with our prospective customers
