Summary

In this role, you will work closely with sales and technical teams to understand customer needs, design tailored solutions, and provide technical expertise. This is an ideal position for individuals with a strong technical background and passion for delivering innovative solutions in the utilities sector.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of prior SaaS SE experience in vertical markets, with a preference for exposure to utilities and local government
  • Knowledge of utility software focused on Customer Information Systems, Customer Self-Service, Mobile Field Service, Work Orders, Asset Management and CMMS
  • Understanding of other core utility software including ERP, SCADA, OMS, AMI, MDM, etc

Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of SpryPoint's suite of SaaS solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to utilities
  • Collaborate with the sales team to engage prospects, gather requirements, and assess their specific needs
  • Design and present configured solutions that align with customer objectives and optimize their operations
  • Support technical proposals, system architecture diagrams, and requirements
  • Conduct technical product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the capabilities and benefits of our SaaS solutions
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through effective communication, responsiveness, and technical support
  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor, offering guidance and assistance throughout the sales cycle
  • Collaborate with customers to identify pain points and recommend effective solutions
  • Collaborate with the technical support team to assist in troubleshooting and resolving complex customer issues
  • Provide guidance on software configuration, data migration, and system integration
  • Partner with field sales representatives in various geo/territories
  • Support attendance to all field marketing events to include conferences, our National Users Conference and regional trade shows

Preferred Qualifications

An understanding of utility operations including - electric, water, wastewater, gas, broadband, and sanitation services is a plus
