Solutions Engineering Manager

Summary

Join Healthie as a hands-on Solutions Engineering Manager to lead solutions and support engineering teams. This customer-facing role blends technical expertise, leadership, and empathy to build and support high-quality solutions. You will work closely with implementation and support engineers, balancing daily customer support with long-term vision scaling enterprise solutions. Mentoring and developing engineers through coaching and professional development is also a key responsibility. The ideal candidate possesses strong technical leadership in SaaS, integration management, and team building, particularly in healthcare technology. This is a full-time, remote position located in the United States, offering a competitive salary.

Requirements

• 5+ years in software engineering, with at least 2 years in a management role in a technical SaaS role
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex topics for diverse audiences
• Proven ability to lead and mentor engineering teams, setting goals and driving performance
• Ability to build relationships, lead with influence, and motivate teams to achieve high performance
• Experience building customer-facing APIs, webhook, and integration workflows
• Proficiency with Ruby on Rails, React, Typescript, GraphQL, Postgres, Redis, Sidekiq, and RSpe
• Ability to thrive in self-directed environments, with a bias toward execution and a focus on delivering results
• Passion for healthcare, commitment to improving patient outcomes, and continuously improving the customer experience
• U.S. work authorization is required

Responsibilities

• Lead solutions and support engineering teams
• Work closely with implementation and support engineers to ensure customer success on Healthie’s developer platform
• Balance day-to-day customer support with the long-term vision to scale our enterprise solutions
• Mentor and develop engineers on your team through coaching, feedback, and professional development opportunities
• Take ownership of recruiting and building top-performing teams
• Resolve technical issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams
