Requirements
- Bachelorโs degree in business administration, Engineering or related field required
- Minimum of five years of sales experience in the electrical manufacturing industry required
- Minimum of three years of experience managing a sales rep team required
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas required
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills required
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required
- Three or more years of experience in utilizing sales CRMs required
- Ability to work independently and remotely required
- Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time required
- Ability to pass physical, drug, driving, and background check required
Responsibilities
- Oversee a team of manufacturer representatives, providing leadership, guidance, and support to ensure they achieve their sales targets
- Develop sales plans and strategies for your region to achieve sales targets and objectives
- Prepare and conduct joint sales calls as well as sales presentations to customers and prospects with the manufacturer representatives
- Build and maintain relationships with key customers and partners in your region to identify business opportunities, foster loyalty, and promote the company's products or services
- Track and analyze sales manufacturersโ performance metrics and KPIs to assess the effectiveness of sales strategies and tactics
- Provide regular reports and updates to VP of Sales on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback as required
- Ensure the manufacturersโ representatives comply with company policies, procedures, and legal requirements
- Stay updated with product knowledge and industry trends to effectively promote and sell products or services
- Provide training and support to sales representatives to enhance their product knowledge and selling skills
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop new products and services that meet the needs of customers in the region
- Participate in industry and prospect events to help support positive market awareness and increase sales
Preferred Qualifications
- Two or more years of experience in the relay control house manufacturing preferred
- Two or more years of experience working in the utility market preferred
