Remote Sr Accountant

Summary

RYZ is seeking a Sr Accountant to support their accounting and reporting process. The role requires understanding of accounting principles, executing judgments, preparing monthly financial statements, and completing accounts receivable and accounts payable duties. The candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field, 3+ years of experience in accounting, proficiency with Google Sheets or Excel, and experience processing payments via Quickbooks Online.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in accounting or a related analytical field
• Experience processing payroll and contractor payments via Quickbooks Online
• Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Proficiency with Google Sheets or Excel

Responsibilities

• Support various aspects of the accounting and reporting process
• Execute judgments to keep projects moving and ensure the right decisions are reached to close the books each month
• Prepare monthly financial statements for analysis and review
• Complete regular accounts receivable and accounts payable duties, such as preparing reports, collections, researching and reconciling discrepancies, and processing transactions
