Summary

The job is for a Creative Project Manager at Varo, a growing fintech company. Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience in creative project management/production in an agency or in-house creative team (fintech experience great, but not necessary)
  • Experience using project management software (ex Wrike, Workfront, Jira, Asana, Airtable, Flow, etc) as well as G Suite
  • Full understanding of various channel tactics including lifecycle, organic growth, social, digital, and other advertising mediums, with a love for great creative work
  • Excellent presentation skills with an ability to present a clear point of view and drive alignment and clarity for cross-functional teams
  • Ability to create strong and effective internal partnerships across cross-functional teams, and thrive in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment

Responsibilities

  • Lead, organize, and orchestrate all phases of the creative production process
  • Define project approach, scope, timelines, and resource estimates
  • Assist the Creative Director with day-to-day operational needs of the creative team
  • Define and improve a variety of project lifecycle processes, delivery practices, and techniques
  • Develop and maintain project plans, including documentation of project scope, objectives, deliverables, key milestones, timelines, schedules, and internal and external resources
  • Follow the development of projects and make sure both the creative team and marketing team are adhering to the agreed timelines
  • Identify dependencies and the cascading impacts of delays
  • Prepare and maintain clear, accurate project documentation
  • Schedule meetings, define the agenda, and provide actionable recaps to cross-functional teams
  • Interface with the Marketing Operations Director and partners, helping guide, prepare, and organize projects before Creative Team team kick-off
  • Provide regular status reports and progress updates to the project team and internal stakeholders
  • Act as Meeting Lead: take ownership of key meetings and become the β€˜go to’ or point person for the holistic department project workload making sure all teams are focused, connected, and clear on expectations and deliverables
  • Research and vet outside creative partners, production agencies, freelancers, and vendors, and allocate resources (internal and external) as needed in conjunction with the creative team
