Staff Accountant

Join CommentSold as a Staff Accountant and contribute to the success of our accounting and finance function. As a vital member of our team, you will have broad exposure to various areas of the business and be responsible for exporting transactions, inputting financial data, and assisting with accounts receivable collection.

Requirements

• Have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• Have 2+ years of accounting experience
• Experience with NetSuite and Bill.com is a plus!
• Are proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Are an excellent communicator - both written and verbal
• Are highly organized and detail-oriented
• Have a working knowledge of GAAP and the ability to apply it to specific situations

Responsibilities

• Export transactions from various systems and code them for weekly inputs used for cash reporting and bi-weekly flash forecast for monthly financial results in Excel
• Input financial transactions in NetSuite and maintain comprehensive supporting documentation
• Own the accounts receivable collection process
• Assist senior accountant with invoice creation and revenue schedules
• Complete month end close supporting schedules for certain G/L accounts assigned to you
• Review and code virtual mailbox for financial notices daily, and escalate to the appropriate individuals
• Assist with documentation requests during annual external GAAP audits
• Assist the Controller and VP of Finance with other ad hoc projects and requests
