Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience accounting experience, preferably in accounts receivable
  • Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and practices
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and NetSuite
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented and organized

Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate and timely project invoices and billing documentation
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure proper project milestone billing
  • Ensure compliance with financial terms and conditions of project contracts or agreements
  • Review project contracts to understand financial requirements, billing milestones, and revenue recognition criteria
  • Oversee the issuance and management of change orders, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Manage billing functions efficiently to ensure timely invoicing and payment
  • Prepare and maintain project budgets
  • Track project expenses and revenue
  • Analyze project financial data and provide insights to project managers
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Manage project billing and invoicing process
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure financial goals are met
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies
  • Maintain accurate project records and documentation
  • Assist with project forecasting, planning and reconciling
