Staff Accountant

Summary

Join NewRocket, a Global Elite ServiceNow Partner, as a Staff Accountant and work with the Accounting Manager and finance team on various accounting and finance processes. You will perform day-to-day activities such as accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger posting. Responsibilities include assisting with month-end close processes, preparing cash flow and P&L forecasts, performing financial analyses, collaborating with other departments, and identifying process improvements. Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day activities, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger posting efficiently and effectively
• Assist with the month-end close process including general ledger posting, balance sheet and revenue reconciliations, financial statement reporting, variance analysis, commission calculations, and other financial metric reporting
• Help prepare weekly cash flow and full P&L forecasts
• Help perform recurring and ad-hoc financial analyses for services projects
• Partner collaboratively with other departments to solve business needs
• Identify and help implement process improvements
• May perform additional duties as assigned
