Remote Staff Accountant

Requirements

• Well organized, self-starter who is interested in fast growing companies with room for growth and leadership
• Associate or Bachelor degree in Accounting
• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Knowledge of statutory accounting principles
• Supervisory experience
• Experience with intercompany accounting and healthcare services - preferred not required
• Background in credentialing, commercial billing, or insurance -preferred not required

Responsibilities

• Manage the day to day booking and management of cash flow across multiple entities, including booking cross entity staffing and related payments
• Perform periodic audits and generate audit reports and reconcile and review accounts receivable
• Assist the Revenue Cycle Manager with medical billing and claims audits, to ensure proper reconciliation of outstanding accounts receivable
• Support the development of budget and budget narrative of investor funding as directed by the CFO
• Develop and maintain close out procedures and reports
