Requirements

• Accounting skills: Demonstrated ability to perform general ledger accounting tasks related to the month-end accounting close process
• Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
• Communication skills: Clear and concise written and verbal communication; including the ability to effectively document procedures performed and analysis of results
• Capability to successfully operate independently with minimal daily direction from management to accomplish objectives and meet deadlines
• Learner mindset: Desire to be mentored and the ability to accept coaching and constructive feedback
• Demonstrated desire to improve processes
• Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely completion of all monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities
• Prepare monthly & quarterly analytics and fluctuation analyses
• Compile and analyze financial information to help with the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements following US GAAP
• Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with company policies and procedures
• Coordinate with all levels of employees, management, and external parties to help ensure complete and accurate accounting in assigned areas
• Prepare schedules and supporting documentation for both internal and external audit requests
• Assist in the identification and resolution of accounting discrepancies and irregularities
• Assist in other areas of accounting and complete ad hoc projects as needed
