Summary
ZenBusiness is seeking a Product-Focused Data Analyst to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of data analysis experience, including substantial experience in sales analysis, and a background in business, statistics, computer science, or a related field. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, conducting comprehensive data analysis, creating visualizations, supporting the product roadmap, evaluating feature performance, user segmentation, A/B testing, and monitoring key product metrics. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field; holding a Masterβs degree is a bonus
- A well-rounded background with 10+ years in data analysis, including substantial experience in a role centered around sales analysis
- Proven knowledge of product operations, usage analysis, sentiment analysis, and sales effectiveness analysis
- In-depth experience working with SQL preferably with Snowflake. Nice to have experience using dbt
- Demonstrated expertise in designing and building Tableau & Mixpanel dashboards or similar experience with other BI tools
- Experience in Data Observability and anomaly detection with tools like Monte Carlo and Metaplane
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, engineering, marketing, and customer success to align data analysis efforts with overall business objectives
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of product-related data to derive actionable insights
- Generate reports on product usage, customer behavior, and performance metrics to enhance decision-making processes
- Create compelling visualizations and dashboards to effectively communicate insights and trends to stakeholders
- Provide data-driven insights to support the development of the product roadmap
- Evaluate the performance of existing product features through data analysis
- Segment users based on various criteria such as demographics, behavior, and usage patterns
- Partner with product teams to design and execute A/B tests and experiments to evaluate the impact of changes to the product
- Monitor key product metrics to detect anomalies, trends, and performance issues
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to data analysis and product management
