Staff DevOps Engineer

Summary

The job is for an experienced engineer to join Azul's distributed Platform team. The role involves designing and implementing PoCs, leading cross-team implementation projects, producing system requirements, supporting engineering teams, providing cloud expertise, automating and optimizing engineering processes, coaching team members, and having at least 2 years of experience as an architect/lead. The technology stack includes Gitlab, Jenkins, AWS, OpenStack, Prometheus, Victoria, Loki, Cloudwatch, Grafana, Kubernetes, Bash, Python, Go.

Requirements

You have at least 2 years of experience working as an architect / lead

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing PoCs
• Leading cross-team implementation projects
• Producing system requirements, design and other SDLC deliverables
• Supporting engineering teams and promoting best practices
• Providing cloud expertise and maintaining company cloud environments
• Automating and optimizing engineering processes
