Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or similar roles
  • Expert in Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD, Terraform, GitHub Actions and CI/CD standards
  • Deep understanding of containerization technologies, highly-distributed backend systems and microservice architecture
  • Experience in backend engineering and strong programming skills
  • Familiarity with data stores: Mongo, Postgres, Redis
  • Proficiency with ELK stack and Grafana

Responsibilities

  • Architect, build, and maintain our cloud infrastructure on GCP using Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm, and ArgoCD
  • Lead and implement technical discussions and DevOps best practices, focusing on infrastructure as code, CI/CD and cloud-native technologies
  • Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability
  • Own our monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using ELK stack, Grafana, InfluxDB, and Telegraf
  • Contribute to backend development projects as needed, primarily using Python
  • Continuously evaluate and introduce new technologies and methodologies to improve our DevOps and backend practices
  • Identify and mitigate risks that may impact the successful delivery of software projects
  • Work with Product Managers to advise software development projects, including planning, executing, monitoring, and delivering projects on time
  • Work with stakeholders, customers, and team members to establish project goals and timelines

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with InfluxDB and Telegraf for monitoring and observability
  • Familiarity with security best practices in cloud environments
  • Experience with MLOps and GenAIOps
