Summary

Join NetBrain's Field Sales team as a Strategic Account Executive, a proven Enterprise hunter with extensive software selling experience. You will be responsible for closing multi-year deals exceeding $1 million, working with BDRs to build and drive sales pipelines, and selling complex software solutions to IT departments in large enterprises. This role requires a strong understanding of selling methodologies, accurate forecasting, and leveraging a team to maximize sales coverage. You will help Fortune 500 companies transform their network operations using automation. Requirements

  • 5-10 years of technology/SaaS sales, selling into IT of large enterprise companies
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a value-based sales environment with a long sales cycle
  • Ability to learn and explain technical concepts to technical teams
  • High emotional intelligence with exceptional problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% within your territory
  • Closing multi-year deals with long sale cycles worth upwards of $1mm
  • Demonstrated history of working with BDRs on assigned prospect accounts to act on building a top-of-funnel pipeline, then actively driving it on through to close
  • Selling complex software solutions or services into IT (ie network ops, infosec)

Responsibilities

  • Exceed assigned sales quotas and objectives
  • Define and execute a territory business plan that outlines the assigned target accounts, strategies for driving productivity, and high-quality pipeline that ultimately results in predictable outcomes and over achievement
  • Engage at all levels of a Global organization across IT and all other lines of business
  • Demonstrate an excellent understanding of key selling methodologies that focus on maximizing deal values and accelerating the customer buying process
  • Provide accurate forecasting and reporting of all sales activities through salesforce.com
  • Leverage an extended team of business development representatives and Sales Engineers to maximize coverage and technology evangelism within target accounts
  • Understand the balance of driving bookings for today and developing a long-term, healthy pipeline for tomorrow
  • Demonstrate an excellent understanding of the agenda of the CIO and the impact of Digital transformation across all lines of business
  • Construct complex technical and commercial proposals
  • Leverage partners to maximize penetration and scale within your target market
