Summary

Join Paragon as a Strategic Account Executive and contribute to our growth by partnering with Mid-Market and Enterprise customers. You will work directly with the CEO, designing and implementing changes to sales and GTM strategy. This role requires a proven track record of exceeding sales quotas in a developer tools/API company. You will manage the sales pipeline, meet sales goals, collaborate with Solutions Engineers, and contribute to refining the sales playbook. Requirements

  • 5+ years in a sales role at an Developer Tools / API company selling strategic deals at $50-$200k+ ACV
  • Track record of top performance and consistently exceeding quota
  • Both inbound and outbound sales experience
  • Experience selling to product and engineering buyers – ability to understand and clearly convey complex topics to a technical audience (e.g. CTOs and engineers)
  • Confident working in a high-autonomy, fast-paced environment where you'll be responsible for decisions that influence the direction of the company

Responsibilities

  • Complete ownership sales pipeline including inbound deal qualification, demos, solutioning conversations, proposals, and closing new business ($50-200k+ ACV), while concurrently spearheading expansion opportunities with existing customers
  • Meet quarterly and annual sales goals by developing an account strategy and pipeline, managing internal and client processes, maintaining sales reports, and developing market and competitor knowledge
  • Work closely with Solutions Engineers to ensure Paragon customers achieve successful implementations
  • Work closely with our CEO to develop and refine the sales playbook, regularly iterating and experimenting with changes to our sales and broader go-to-market strategy
