Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal sales, with a strong focus on the Department of Defense
  • Experience selling consumption-based products into Army, Air Force, and more
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth within the federal sector
  • Deep understanding of the DOD landscape, including its structure, procurement processes, and key initiatives
  • Excellent relationship-building skills, with the ability to establish trust and credibility with senior stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to develop and execute complex account plans
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • US citizenship and DOD SECRET security clearance eligibility are required, with preference for TS/SCI eligibility

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive account strategies to achieve revenue targets and growth objectives within the DOD sector
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and influencers within the DOD
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities, leveraging your knowledge of the DOD's needs and requirements
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, product, and engineering, to deliver tailored solutions that address the unique challenges of the DOD
  • Provide thought leadership and industry insights to position Unstructured as a trusted partner within the Defense community
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and demonstrations to showcase the value of Unstructured's solutions
  • Stay current on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies relevant to the DoD
  • Monitor and report on account performance, including pipeline development, sales forecasts, and key metrics
