Join Caseware, a leading Fintech company in the global audit and accounting software industry, as a Strategic Account Manager. You will be responsible for maintaining and growing relationships with key clients, driving revenue growth through expansion and new business, and ensuring client satisfaction. This role requires exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, as well as a deep understanding of the industry and client businesses. You will act as the primary point of contact for clients, comprehending their business needs and providing strategic solutions to help them achieve their objectives. This is a full-time, permanent remote position available to applicants residing and eligible to work in Atlanta, Georgia, United States.

  • Proven track record in account management, with a focus on strategic relationship building, driving the sales process in a complex selling environment and achieving revenue growth targets
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously while maintaining a high level of attention to detail
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to drive results and overcome obstacles
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in using Salesforce, Microsoft Office suite and other relevant tools to manage client relationships and track client interactions and key client information
  • Knowledge of the industry trends, market dynamics, and best practices in account management
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating with cross-functional departments both internally and externally
  • Either 5+ yearsโ€™ experience as an account manager selling SAAS products to the US public accounting industry or 5+ yearsโ€™ experience in assurance services, either as a former auditor or working in a national office/innovation role at a large accounting firm
  • Strong knowledge of the industry and the ability to understand clients' business objectives and challenges to effectively communicate value across different stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce
  • Ability to travel for client meetings and industry events as required
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with key clients, acting as their primary point of contact for all inquiries, concerns, and escalations
  • Comprehend clientsโ€™ business objectives, challenges, and market trends to provide strategic counsel and solutions that align with their goals
  • Conduct regular business reviews with clients to evaluate their satisfaction, identify areas for improvement, and uncover opportunities for growth
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Product Development, to ensure client needs are met and exceeded
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling, working in close collaboration with the Solution Consulting and Product teams to develop account expansion strategies, particularly migration to our cloud solutions
  • Monitor and analyze client performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement across marketing, sales support and product teams
  • Remain current with industry trends, the competitive landscape, and market conditions to proactively identify potential risks and opportunities for our clients
  • Track and report on key account metrics and milestones that push the sales process forward and provide a positive customer experience, such as activity, revenue growth, customer retention, and client satisfaction, to senior management
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and partners to ensure smooth pilot evaluation, project implementation and successful delivery of services
  • Attend industry events and conferences to build relationships with existing clients and generate new business leads
  • Manage accurate pipeline and account activity in Salesforce

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Accounting or a related field
  • Proven experience in account management, preferably in a consultative, complex sales environment
  • Experience using Caseware Products or other audit solutions
  • Experience in public accounting industry and the SaaS solutions offered, as well as customer buying cycles unique to the industry
