Join Lemonade as an experienced Strategic Account Manager to spearhead business development in the veterinary sector. This pivotal role demands cultivating and maintaining strategic relationships with veterinary clinics, hospitals, and animal health organizations, while simultaneously driving revenue growth and expanding market reach. You will leverage your strong industry knowledge and business acumen to navigate complex veterinary practice dynamics. The successful candidate will expertly balance technical veterinary knowledge with strategic business development skills. This position offers a competitive salary and benefits package. Requirements
- 3+ years experience in veterinary pharmaceutical or supply sales
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Animal Science, Biology, or related field
- Proven track record of success in account management
- Strong understanding of veterinary practice operations and the pet insurance world
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
- Experience working with veterinary distribution channels
- Knowledge of veterinary practice management systems (PMS)
- Ability to work remotely

Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a portfolio of 100-150 key veterinary accounts
- Develop and execute customized business plans for each major account
- Build strategic relationships with decision-makers at veterinary practices
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts and advise on strategic opportunities
- Stay updated on industry trends and developments
- Attend and represent Lemonade at industry events
- Provide educational resources and workshops for veterinary professionals
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop relevant educational and marketing materials
- Establish relationships with veterinary associations and organizations
- Identify opportunities for co-marketing initiatives
- Build partnerships with key opinion leaders in veterinary medicine
- Develop strategic alliances with complementary businesses
Preferred Qualifications
Veterinary industry certification, a plus (CVPM, CVBA, etc.)
Benefits
Lemonade's US base salary range for this full-time position is $120,000 - $130,000 + equity + benefits
