Summary

Join Skillsoft as a Strategic Partnership Manager and help manage strategic partnerships, identify new business areas, and develop and implement business plans to increase revenue. You will create synergies between Skillsoft and partners, ensuring everyone works towards the same objectives. This role involves managing multiple strategic partners within a specific region, focusing on growing partner revenue and achieving other key results. Responsibilities include implementing partnership governance, establishing regional strategy, driving opportunity creation, and ensuring cross-functional alignment. The position requires strong relationship-building, communication, and analytical skills, along with a passion for sales and technology. Success in this role will be measured by partner revenue growth and overall partnership performance.

Responsibilities

  • Build and develop commercial and strategic relationships with the partners assigned to the manager
  • Creating and implement joint programs with strategic Partners that jointly benefit Skillsoft and partner
  • Extend and promote Percipio© as a tool lever to transform companies (partners and customers) within strategic partners
  • Work with other teams internal to the organization to ensure that Alliance and Partnership goals are synchronized with organizational goals
  • Negotiate and finalize deals with strategic partners and alliances that benefit the company
  • Attend strategic partner trade and networking events in the region assigned and develop new one with them to creating new relationships, routes to market and getting knowledge about products and solutions
  • Strategize newer ways to grow current partnerships
  • Work in liaison with the sales and marketing team to understand better how to expand Skillsoft products within the partners
  • Encourage and supervise any collaborations with strategic partners
  • Coordinate and attend meetings with the strategics partners assigned; conduct relevant follow-up to sustain ally engagement
  • Knowing in detail the products, training programs, academies, training itineraries, corporate digital solutions, and certifications of each strategic partner as well as all those related to Skillsoft and associated companies
  • Attend weekly strategy meetings to report on the business status of each assigned strategic partner, the different growth initiatives carried out, relevant marketing or sales actions and any information of interest related to the partner
  • Build and nurture relationships with the partner’s sales, marketing, and product management teams to further our mutual business objectives
  • Ensure training strategies and plans with partner are aligned for growth for successfully delivering on the market opportunity
  • Drive quarterly business reviews with region and global sponsors to track progress on aligned GTM focus areas / work streams and other interactions
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the partners’ key industries, including trends, business processes, financial measurements and performance indicators, and key competitors
  • Deliver accurate weekly and quarterly forecasts
  • Establish and owns business development relationships
  • Joint account mapping & engage global sales teams
  • Enable to sell, sell thru, sell with sales plays
  • Understand and drive subsidy programs
  • Build connections beyond training partner group
  • Product growth opportunities (via customer feedback)
  • Champion partner programs changes that increase our impact
  • Solutions architect/Engineer support
