Strategic Enterprise Account Executive

Summary

Join Databricks as an Enterprise Account Executive and become a strategic sales professional focused on selling to SLED accounts within a dedicated territory. You will manage complex sales cycles, close new and existing accounts, and exceed revenue targets. This role requires experience in selling to SLED accounts and a strong track record of success. Databricks offers accelerators above 100% quota attainment and a competitive compensation package. You will utilize a solution-based approach, track customer details in Salesforce, and promote Databricks' enterprise cloud data platform. Success in this role involves building internal and external plans, prioritizing opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Have previously worked in an early-stage company, and you know how to navigate and be successful
• 4 - 6+ years of field sales experience to SLED accounts
• Strong track record of success delivering business value to customers
• Passion for cloud technologies
• Bachelor's degree

Responsibilities

• Manage complex sales-cycles and present to C-level executives
• Close net new and existing accounts
• Identify and close quick, small wins while managing longer, complex sales cycles
• Exceed activity, pipeline, and revenue targets
• Track all customer details including use case, purchase time frames, next steps, and forecasting in Salesforce
• Use a solution-based approach to selling and creating value for customers
• Promote Databricks; enterprise cloud data platform powered by Apache Spark™
• Ensure 100% satisfaction among all customers
• Prioritize opportunities and applying appropriate resources
• Build a plan for success internally at Databricks and externally with your accounts

Preferred Qualifications

Background in big data, Cloud, or SaaS sales is preferable
