Requirements

  • Finance degree (4-yr) required, MBA or CFA preferred
  • 2 – 5 years of experience
  • Investment Banking experience with SaaS companies
  • Knowledge of NetSuite, Snowflake, Tableau
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and cost control
  • M&A experience
  • Experience and senior level mastery of data analysis and efficient acquisition of data across multiple platforms in a clear and concise way
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques (customer wireframes, etc) to derive meaningful insights from financial data
  • Ability to translate and communicate financial data into actionable business strategies
  • Experience leading-cross functional efforts and projects with high quality and on-time delivery
  • Resourceful in problem solving and comfortable navigating ambiguity
  • High-level of intellectual curiosity regarding the business and senior level business acumen to apply and articulate the business story behind the financials
  • Ability to work and lead cross-functionally to build consensus on the outlook for the vertical (forecasting) leveraging data insights and analysis
  • Has a keen attention to detail and a commitment to rigorous iterative processing that drives a high level of financial and data accuracy
  • Effectively communicates with all levels of leadership and individual contributors to clearly and concisely describe inputs needed and drive tight timelines
  • Ability to work through- and bring structure to ambiguity, leveraging a consistent approach and methodology across all the business areas

Responsibilities

  • Successfully lead and execute key financial projects
  • Facilitate annual exit prep for the team including dry-runs, diligence activities, modeling, business overview and presentation materials
  • Enhance financial metrics and reporting systems
  • Work with the vertical leadership teams and departmental leaders to design and build a budget and 5-yr planning process that align with Riverside’s goals
  • Ensure that all systems contain accurate consistent financial data
  • Oversee the timely delivery of all external reporting
  • Facilitate quarterly review meetings to adjust and refine financial forecasts, maintaining flexibility to adapt to changing business conditions
  • Partner with Corporate leaders to generate expense forecasts/ budgets/ reporting items
  • Train department heads and managers in understanding and using financial reports
