Summary
Join dLocal, a global payments company, as a Strategic Operations Manager. You will play a key role in driving operational efficiency, scaling processes, and supporting strategic initiatives. This position requires collaboration with senior leadership, analysis of processes, and management of key performance indicators (KPIs). The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, detail-oriented, and skilled collaborator. Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years in operations management, strategy, or a related role
- Experience in the Payments Industry, Fintechs, and Digital Banks
- Familiarity with all business functions including Legal, Finance, Product, and IT
- Proven ability to manage large-scale projects and deliver results in a fast-paced environment, with a track record of top performance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
- Proficiency in operational tools such as Excel, project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello), and data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Open to constant change in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment, a self-starter, open to working across time zones with teams all over the world
- Fluent in written and verbal English
- Availability to travel
- Ability to establish a relevant business network
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior leadership to define and implement operational strategies aligned with company goals
- Analyze current processes and systems to identify inefficiencies and drive improvements for scalability and efficiency
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and improve team and organizational performance
- Manage relations and negotiations with partners and local acquirers
- Lead cross-functional projects, ensuring alignment, clear communication, and timely delivery of results
- Champion change initiatives by effectively communicating their value, addressing resistance, and ensuring successful adoption
- Conduct competitive and market analysis to inform operational decisions and identify growth opportunities
- Act as a liaison between departments to ensure cohesive and coordinated execution of company initiatives
- Identify potential risks in operations and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact. Stay on top of local regulatory/licensing requirements and how it impacts our business
- Evaluate and recommend tools or systems that enhance operational efficiency and support strategic goals
- Work closely with the rest of the company to make their life easier, by providing the information they may need, such as transaction information, feedback from our local providers, and analysis of the current issues that may be affecting our clients and our local processes
- Maintain personal networks, participate in professional organizations, and attend conferences and industry events. Help our Sales and Ops team as a regional expert
