Summary
Join Fictiv, a leading technology company transforming the manufacturing industry, as a Strategic Program Manager (SPM). You will play a pivotal role in accelerating product launches and ensuring high quality across various industries. As an SPM, you will build strong customer relationships, collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage program risks, and act as a subject matter expert. You will also focus on process improvement and operational efficiency to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction. The role requires strong program management skills, excellent communication, and a customer-first mindset. Up to 25% travel is required.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering
- 5+ years of experience managing programs in fast-paced engineering or manufacturing environments
- Hands-on experience with NPD, NPI, and high-volume manufacturing facilities
- Expertise in manufacturing processes like CNC Machining, 3D Printing, Injection Molding, and more
- Proven customer-facing experience and a consultative approach to technical sales engagements
- Strong program management skills, with a focus on risk management and time efficiency
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience working across multi-cultural teams
- A customer-first mindset and a passion for process optimization and operational excellence
- Up to 25% travel required to visit customers, manufacturing facilities, and team meetings
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with customers, ensuring exceptional experiences that foster long-term loyalty
- Work cross-functionally with Sales, Solutions Engineering, and Fulfillment teams to scope, plan, and execute customer programs, always delivering on time, within budget, and exceeding quality expectations
- Identify and mitigate risks early in the program lifecycle, keeping projects on track with proactive solutions and strategic guidance
- Be the go-to expert on your program, offering valuable insights and clarity to both internal teams and customers
- Focus on refining processes and driving operational efficiencies to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction
- Lead status meetings, clearly communicate goals, timelines, and quality standards, and resolve blockers to ensure alignment and success
