Strategic Project Manager

Summary

The job is for a Strategic Project Manager at Axon, based remotely in Canada. The role involves managing deployment projects, working with business and IT leaders, and participating in defining project scope and objectives. The candidate should have relevant experience and education.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education
• 5+ Years of Project Management Experience
• Experience utilizing technical project management tracking tools to ensure project tracking, completion

Responsibilities

• Manages aspects of deployment from small accounts single product implementations through to complex enterprise-grade product deployments
• Oversees project-level change management activities in conjunction with client partners and internal stakeholders
• Ensures project milestones and deadlines are met and associated documentation supports customer acceptance for purposes of revenue recognition
• Works closely with business and IT leaders to define the vision, scope and delivery timelines for project deliverables
• Participates in the definition of project scope and objectives through research and fact finding
• Supports work estimation process in support of project planning activities
• Stakeholder management including Axon Vendor/Subcontractor’s

Preferred Qualifications

PMP certification is an asset but not required
