Strategy & Operations Intern

Join Sword Health, a leading AI-powered healthcare company, as a Strategy & Operations Intern and contribute to our mission of freeing billions from pain. This internship offers the chance to support the Associate General Manager and operations team on various cross-functional initiatives. You will be involved in data tracking, project planning, and execution, working with key operational and performance metrics. The internship duration is flexible, depending on your availability and university requirements. Sword provides a daily allowance for all interns. This role is ideal for those passionate about improving operational efficiency and contributing to a mission-driven organization. The position is based in Portugal and requires a valid EU visa; relocation assistance is not provided.

Requirements

• Good analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information
• Proficiency in working with sheets and Looker is a must
• Good organizational and multitasking abilities, being able to manage multiple priorities effectively
• Proficient in spoken and written English
• High level of attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
• A collaborative and open mindset and the ability to build strong relationships with diverse teams

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the definition, tracking, and reporting of key operational and performance metrics
• Owning and maintaining data sheets and dashboards for the team
• Conducting data analysis to support decision making and surface improvement opportunities
• Identifying inefficiencies in current workflows and helping propose or test process improvements
• Supporting the organization and facilitation of internal meetings and workstreams

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Analytics, Engineering, Economics and Management or related areas
• A proactive, resourceful and entrepreneurial spirit
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and maintain composure under pressure
• Passion for improving operational efficiency and contributing to the success of a mission-driven organization
• Familiarity with the healthcare of technology sectors is a plus
